CHARLES J. ROEDERSHEIMER

Mr. Roedersheimer is a graduate of University of Cincinnati Law School (1967) and was a member of the Law Review. His other graduate and undergraduate degrees are from Wheeling Jesuit University, (B.S. Accounting and Minor in Philosophy - 1964) and University of Dayton (M.B.A.-1976). He also attended the National Security Course at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and Leadership/Management Programs at Federal Executive Institute, Charlottesville, Virginia.

His practice includes the following areas of law: Bankruptcy, Mortgage Financing and Real Estate, Predatory Lending, Foreclosure, Consumer Law (emphasis on credit and debt collection claims and disputes), Government and Business Contracts and Military Law. His primary legal practice is in Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Mortgage Financing and Consumer Law.

Mr. Roedersheimer is a former General Counsel and Associate Regional Counsel for the U.S. Government’s Defense Logistics Agency in Dayton and Columbus Ohio. He is a retired reserve Captain in the Navy Judge Advocate General Corp and served as a staff attorney for Dayton Legal Aid Society prior to joining Thompson & DeVeny. He is a regular presenter to local and state bar associations on the subject of predatory lending, foreclosures and bankruptcy law.

Mr. Roedersheimer is admitted to the following state and federal bars: Ohio, West Virginia; U.S. District Court, S.D. Ohio, U.S. Military Court Appeals. He is a member of the Ohio, West Virginia and Dayton Bar Associations and serves on the Dayton Bar’s Fee Dispute and Bankruptcy Committees. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Law Forum, National Association of consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and National Association of Consumer Advocates

His community service includes membership in the Oakwood Rotary where he has serves on the International Youth Committee; United Way of Dayton Committee on Foreclosures; and on various committees for his church. His recreational activities include gardening and running.
